The "2011 Passion for Caring" event was held on May 4, 2011 to benefit Concord Regional VNA. The event was
graciously hosted by Company C, Inc. inside their spacious and colorful showroom.
More than 160 guests attended the event, helping to raise more than $50,000 to support Concord Regional VNA's Hospice
Program. A portion of the funds raised will be used to set up Child Bereavement Services for the community. When a loved
one dies, it can be difficult to know how to help children cope with the loss, particularly as parents and caretakers
work through their own grief.
Mary-Sue Tuuri was honored with the Kay Sidway Award. The award, which began in 1998, honors individuals who have
devoted themselves to the education, nurturing, and well-being of families.
This year's Donor Recognition Award was given to Bill and Marcia Matthews who have been staunch supporters of Concord
Regional VNA for many years. The Donor Recognition Award is given annually to an individual or couple who exemplifies
Concord Regional VNA's mission to provide and facilitate comprehensive care in the home and community to optimize health,
well-being and independence.

Concord Regional VNA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been providing expert care to the greater Concord region for more than 110 years. In 1981, Concord Regional VNA recognized a need and began to provide hospice care in homes and nursing facilities, followed in 1994 with the opening of the first Hospice House in New Hampshire. Our staff provides pain and symptom management as well as emotional and spiritual support to patients with serious progressive illnesses and their families in central New Hampshire..
