Hospice Lights of Life is a community event to raise awareness for Hospice as an option for end-of-life care. Hospice is a philosophy of care that focuses on the quality of life remaining, not just the length of time. This unique approach offers physical, emotional and spiritual comfort to terminally ill individuals and their families and friends.

Throughout the month of December, electric candles, provided by Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association, are lit in the windows of downtown Concord, Contoocook, Penacook, Pittsfield, Henniker, Hillsborough, Suncook Village, and Warner and shine in celebration and honor of the memories of hundreds of people who have held a special place in someone’s heart.

The entire community is invited to participate by sending in the name of a loved one to the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association, the name is then placed on the Lights of Life Honor Roll. We're sorry that the deadline to include a name on the Honor Roll has passed. The Honor Roll will be printed in the Concord Monitor on December 11.

Donations are gratefully accepted to support our Hospice program. Corporate Sponsors donate money to cover the cost of the event.
