Monthly Men's Discussion Group

Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association offers a Men's Grief Discussion Group for men adjusting to the loss of a loved one. The group meets on the last Friday of each month from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Concord Regional VNA Hospice House on the Concord Hospital campus at 250 Pleasant Street in Concord. Continental breakfast is provided. There is no registration or fee to attend. Please call (603)224-4093 for additional information.

Grief Support for the Holidays

The loss of a loved one hurts more on holidays, birthdays, anniversaries or other special days, when the grief one feels takes on additional clarity and depth. These feelings are normal and to be expected. Special days intensify grief because they focus on feelings of loss. The absence of a loved one may alter or completely change the traditions once shared, which in turn may awaken many memories. However, one can learn how to live with the grief and not be consumed by it.

Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association provides a free informational and supportive session called "Grief and the Holidays." The facilitator is a member of the Hospice team. Space is limited. Please call (603)224-4093 for information.

Dates and times for all community grief support in the Calendar.
