Concord Regional VNA Hospice House on Pleasant Street in Concord is a warm, caring, personalized home that includes 24-hour skilled nursing care so terminally ill individuals and their families can focus on the quality of life remaining. Our experienced team provides end-of-life care while treating you with dignity and grace.

In 1994, Concord Regional VNA opened the first hospice house in the state. The Hospice House has many amenities including a pull-out sofa bed in each of the residence rooms for family and friends to sleep, a kitchen from which you can choose their own menu, and a guest room for out-of-the-area visiting loved ones. The Hospice House also has a meditation room, access to a computer for e-mail and Internet, and an outside walking path.

What are the Payment Options?
The Hospice House Room and Board fee is not always covered by Medicare, but may be covered by some private insurance companies. Free and reduced fee services and room and board are made possible by generous community contributions under our Charitable Care Program. No one is denied admission to the Hospice House because of inadequate financial resources.
